What it costs today
A site plan shouldn't cost more than the permit
Typical prices for the site plan that goes with a residential fence, deck or shed permit.
Ranges are typical market prices for small residential projects. Surveys are still required for some permits; see the FAQ.
How it works
Three steps, one PDF
Type the address
We pull the parcel boundary from county GIS records and the building outlines from aerial imagery. No tape measure, no site visit.
Draw the project
Pick fence, deck, shed or pool and draw it on the map. Lengths and the distance to every lot line update as you draw.
Download the PDF
Get a to-scale sheet with title block, north arrow and scale bar, ready to upload to your permit portal or print.
On every plan
What permit reviewers look for, drawn the same way every time

- Existing house, garage, shed and driveway
- Your proposed fence, deck, shed or pool, labeled

Accepted, fixed, or refunded
If your permit office rejects a plan for accuracy or drawing quality, we fix it or refund it.
Our plans are drafting documents built from county GIS data and aerial imagery. They are not a legal survey. If your city requires a stamped plan from a licensed surveyor or engineer, you'll need one for that permit.
Questions
Before you sign up
Will my permit office accept it?
Most building departments accept a scaled site plan that isn't a survey for fences, decks, sheds, patios and pools. Some require a survey for certain projects. Check your city's permit checklist, or ask us before you buy.
Where do the property lines come from?
From county parcel records (GIS), laid over aerial imagery. They're right for most permit drawings but can be off by a few feet, so if your project sits close to a setback limit, confirm it with your survey.
What's on the plan?
Property lines with lengths, existing buildings, your proposed project, setbacks to each lot line, the street, a north arrow, a scale bar and a title block with the address and parcel number.
Which projects does it cover?
Fences, decks, sheds, pools, patios and driveways on residential lots in the US. Not new homes or additions: most cities want a survey for those.
Do I need CAD skills?
No. If you can find your house on a map, you can draw the project. Lengths and setbacks are measured for you.
When can I use it?
Now. Type your address, draw your project and see a free preview. You pay $79 only when you download the final plan.
